Abstract

Religious education is the main foundation in shaping children's personality and character. Its success is not only the responsibility of schools, but also the central role of parents as the first and foremost educators. This study aims to describe the role of parents, forms of support provided, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in supporting children's religious education in Uman Agung Village. The method used is descriptive qualitative with observation, in-depth interview, and documentation techniques. The results show that parents act as role models, motivators, facilitators, and supervisors. Support provided includes habituation of worship, learning supervision, provision of facilities, and cooperation with educational institutions. However, there are still obstacles such as work busyness and limited religious knowledge among some parents.
