STRATEGI GURU PAI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 1 BANDAR MATARAM

This study aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing students' learning interest, supporting and inhibiting factors, and their impact at State Elementary School 1 Bandar Mataram. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results showed that the strategies applied include varied learning strategies, use of interesting learning media, creation of a comfortable classroom atmosphere, provision of motivation and appreciation, and connection of material with daily life. Supporting factors include teacher competence, school support, and community cultural background, while inhibiting factors are differences in student abilities, limited facilities, and external environmental influences. The application of these strategies has proven to significantly increase students' learning interest, as seen from increased activeness, attendance, and learning outcomes.
