Abstract

The quality of Tahfidz programs depends not only on students’ memorization achievement but also on systematic supervision and continuous quality improvement. Previous studies have examined school supervision and quality management separately, while their simultaneous contribution to Tahfidz program quality remains insufficiently examined. This study aims to analyze the effect of principal supervision management and the implementation of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle on the quality of the Tahfidz program at SMP Al-Qur’an Tri Bhakti At-Taqwa, East Lampung. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey design. The population consisted of 20 teachers and Tahfidz program supervisors, all of whom were selected through total sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through simple and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that principal supervision management significantly affects Tahfidz program quality. The implementation of PDCA also has a significant effect on program quality. Simultaneously, principal supervision management and PDCA significantly affect Tahfidz program quality. These findings indicate that systematic supervision and continuous improvement can strengthen the management of Tahfidz programs. The study contributes practical evidence for developing quality management strategies in Islamic educational institutions
