STRATEGI GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMUNIKASI BAHASA INDONESIA TERHADAP SISWA SD NEGERI TERBANGGI MULYA

This study aims to examine the strategies used by teachers to improve the Indonesian language communication skills of students at SD Negeri Terbanggi Mulya. Communication is a fundamental skill that plays an important role in the learning process, especially in the subject of the Indonesian language. Through effective communication, students can better understand the material and express their ideas or opinions clearly. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The object of this study were teachers and students at SD Negeri Terbanggi Mulya. The results of the study show that teachers apply several strategies to improve students’ communication skills, such as question-andanswer methods, group discussions, presentations, role-playing, and the use of learning media such as pictures and videos. Teachers also actively create a positive classroom atmosphere and motivate students to become more confident in speaking and writing in Indonesian. It can be concluded that appropriate strategies and consistent implementation by teachers can significantly help enhance students’ Indonesian language communication skills. Support from the school environment and active student participation are also important factors for the success of the learning process.
