PEMANFAATAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS DIGITAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS DI SDN 1 BUMI NABUNG TIMUR TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the utilization of digital-based learning media in enhancing students’ learning interest in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject at SDN 1 Bumi Nabung Timur for the 2024/2025 academic year. Along with technological advancements, digital media is increasingly employed in educational environments as an effort to boost motivation, engagement, and conceptual understanding through more interactive approaches. The learning media used in this research includes PowerPoint presentations, instructional videos, and the use of technological devices such as computers, laptops, projectors, and speakers that support the teaching and learning process.

This research adopts observation and interview methods involving both teachers and students to evaluate the effectiveness of digital media implementation in IPAS instruction. Observational results show that the use of digital learning media positively contributes to increasing students' interest in learning. During the learning process, students exhibit high enthusiasm, greater participation, and a better understanding of concepts compared to conventional methods that primarily rely on textbooks as the main source. Moreover, interactive media helps students grasp the material in a more visual and in-depth manner, thereby providing a more engaging and enjoyable learning experience.

Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the integration of digital-based learning media in teaching IPAS at SDN 1 Bumi Nabung Timur significantly enhances students' interest in learning. The use of technology in education offers a more interactive experience, enriches teaching methods, and improves the overall effectiveness of the learning process.
