PERAN GURU DAN TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN DALAM STRATEGI PEMASARAN JASA PENDIDIKAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN JUMLAH PESERTA DIDIK BARU DI MADRASAH ALIYAH DAAR AL-HIKMAH SEPUTIH MATARAM
Abstract
This research presents: 1. How do teachers and educational staff contribute to developing marketing strategies at MA Daar Al-Hikmah? 2. What marketing strategies are implemented at MA Daar Al-Hikmah to increase new student enrollment? 3. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing marketing strategies at MA Daar Al-Hikmah?
The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, which is expected to provide in-depth insights into the factors influencing the success of educational marketing. The research reveals that teachers and educational staff play a significant role in designing and implementing effective marketing strategies. Through interviews and observations, data were collected to understand how the interaction between teachers, educational staff, and prospective students can influence parents' decisions in choosing Madrasah Aliyah Daar Al-Hikmah as an educational institution.
The research findings indicate that: 1) Role of Teachers: In addition to being educators, teachers function as marketing agents who attract the interest of prospective students through personal approaches and professionalism. Role of Educational Staff: Educational staff create a supportive environment and manage effective information and communication with the community. 2) Marketing Strategies: The strategies implemented include promotions through social media, distribution of brochures to neighbors, and collaboration with religious institutions to enhance consumer awareness and the image and quality of the madrasa. 3) In implementing marketing strategies at MA Daar Al-Hikmah, there are several inhibiting and supporting factors. Inhibiting factors include a lack of trained human resources in marketing and budget constraints for promotions. Meanwhile, supporting factors include support from superiors and the surrounding community.
